BLACKBOW was an eye-catching 2nd at Fairyhouse last time and should go well again despite a rise in the weights. REBEL GOLD ran a nice race when 2nd at Limerick in December and should appreciate the step up in trip here. FAKIR D’ALENE has won his last 2 and is worth noting in this race, despite the rise in class.

HONEYSUCKLE is impossible to oppose despite the drop off in her stables form. She is 13-13 over obstacles and it is hard to see how she won’t be involved in the finish against rivals that she has already beaten.

The Champion bumper winner SIR GERHARD made a really nice start to his hurdles career when winning over this course and distance in December and should have enough class to land his first Grade 1 over obstacles.
