3:35 Leopardstown – Tattersalls Ireland Novice Hurdle (G1)
All eyes will quite rightly be on SIR GERHARD as he bids to make it 2-2 over hurdles. Last year’s Champion bumper winner made a winning start over this Course and Distance in December and should be hard to beat, with the form of his maiden hurdle win working out quite nicely.
He has been well found in the market though and so there is some much better each-way value further down the market in this race too.
COLONEL MUSTARD was very impressive when winning at Galway in October and his 2nd placed finish to Jonbon at Ascot has been franked since. At a double figure price he has perhaps been overlooked and Lorna Fowlers stable star is well worth his place in this company.
