Only 4 runners go to post for the Feature race of the Leicester Flat season, but it is an intriguing contest, nonetheless. The 3 older horses have all had plenty of chances at this level and so it could pay to stick with the 4-year-old ARATUS. He was highly progressive last season for Clive Cox, winning all 3 starts last season and rising 13lbs in the process. He won a very competitive Class 2 handicap at Goodwood in August and looks well worth a try at this level and would not need to find much improvement to take this. The winner of 4 of his 5 career starts, he has much more scope for development than most of this field and looks a solid proposition at the prices.
