1He hasn’t quite hit the heights that he once promised to, but GLEN FORSA showed a marked return to form when winning at Musselburgh and although that was a Veterans race, he is only 10 and may not be finished in open company yet. He was a graded winner over fences in 2019 and although he has had his issues since, he showed that enough of his ability remained when finishing 4th at Ascot at this level before Christmas to suggest that there may still be another big race in him. He carried top weight to win at Musselburgh and although he has been given a 5lb rise by the handicapper for that victory, he had the race in hand from quite a long way out and is still 20lbs below his peak of 154. Lorcan Williams retains the ride on Saturday, and it will be disappointing if he can’t back up that success.
