These 2 teams played out an entertaining 2-3 game at St James’ Park in the autumn in what was Newcastle’s first game under their new ownership. Since then, they have been transformed by Eddie Howe and have pulled themselves clear of the relegation zone with a superb run of form. Although they did lose at Everton, that was their first defeat of 2022 and with the benefit of a 16-day break, they are good value to get a result against a Spurs team who struggle for consistency.
