A regally bred 1000 Guineas entered filly who is a half-sister to the top class Benbatl, she looked an unlucky loser in the Fred Darling Guineas Trial at Newbury in April where she showed that she won’t be out of place at Group level this season.

Elmalka has won the 1000 Guineas at 28/1.
The flat season really kicked into gear over the weekend and there were performances of real note from a selection of Horses To Follow. In the 1000 Guineas, Elmalka recorded a first British Classic victory for jockey Silvestre De Sousa at an even more rewarding price of 28/1. The daughter of Kingman looks set for a stellar season ahead.
