DEL LA MAR ROCKET sets a clear standard after an impressive win on soft ground at Ffos Las and he should go well even with a penalty. NOTHIN TO ASK has been frustrating, but he has run well on several occasions, including when 2nd here in December and should run his race, whilst the newcomer NEW FOUND FAME makes some appeal on paper.

WELSH SAINT ran well for a long way at Doncaster and should appreciate the conditions at Uttoxeter. Sam Thomas’ horse is included along with the unexposed PULLING STUMPS, who was very impressive when winning at Ludlow last time and should have further improvement in him than most of these.

SAINT PALAIS was outclassed by Ahoy Senor last time out but is best forgiven that effort and is of interest based on his previous form in handicaps. FUJI FLIGHT has won his last 2 and could well defy a 5lb rise.

PANIC ATTACK has an excellent record at this track and should go well in receipt of weight all round, whilst the ever-consistent BEAUPORT should run his race.

TIME TO GET UP won this race last year and looks to have been saved for another go, he should be involved in the finish on a mark just 4lbs higher than 12-months ago. Irish raider HEAR NO EVIL has been given a chance by the handicapper and made a decent comeback at Navan earlier this month. SUPREME ESCAPE has sneaked in at the bottom of the weights and could have more improvement in him than most in this field.

The return to hurdling could spark some improvement out of STARVOSKI who hasn’t taken to chasing so far this season. BRANSON MISSOURI is also worth looking at as her 2nd placed finish at Wincanton last time is probably the best piece of recent form on offer.
