All About Sunday Maiden Hurdle 4YO only, 29 Runners, 2m

HIGH DEFINITION (9) makes hurdle debut after showing plenty of ability on the flat. Expected to go well. FOXFIRE GLOW (7) finished third tackling a maiden hurdle at Down Royal in October following a placing in France at Compiegne. Close to a first win. JETARA (26) delivers initial hurdle outing and we expect a bold show. Went well on the flat when third at Navan and anticipate a bold run today. PARMENION (16) won tackling the flat in France though that was 18 months ago. Hasn’t been seen since however does race for the Willie Mullins stable. One to consider.

Thorntons Recycling Maiden Hurdle 5YO plus, 23 Runners, 2m

DARK RAVEN (5) was a dual flat winner two years ago. Makes a hurdling debut and a big run is anticipated. DOCTOR BRAVO (6) won on the flat last start at Fairyhouse. If taking to hurdling could prove a key chance. VIVA DEVITO (20) resumed after a 241-day spell managing a strong second in a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse that form looks solid and will come on for that run and is worth considering. HOULANBATORDECHAIS (8) finished eleventh at Aintree nine months ago and tackles hurdles for the first time. Don’t dismiss if supported.

Knight Frank Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 2) 3YO only, 11 Runners, Class 1, 2m

LOSSIEMOUTH (8) is unbeaten in two races. Won a hurdle at Auteuil (FR) on debut then transferred to Willie Mullins finding success at Fairyhouse. Open to further improvement. COUGAR (3) arrives unbeaten this campaign winning a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park. Followed up at Down Royal and can make it three in a row. NUSRET (5) won first hurdle start by 6L at Punchestown. Holds sound prospects again. GALA MARCEAU (9) returns from a 240-day spell. When last in work was a winner in a hurdle at Compiegne (FR) first up. Now trained by Willie Mullins and expect a forward race. This is a mouth-watering race with lots of pointers towards march and the Cheltenham Festival.

LOW STYLE (14) returns after a break of three months. Fell last start on chase debut at Cork and may make amends. DUTCH SCHULTZ (3) could improve returning to steeplechasing whilst BROOKIE (8) looks progressive. This last start maiden hurdle winner at Limerick can be considered. CHANGING THE RULES (2) is yet to find the frame in two runs this campaign but hasn’t been too far away attempting two hurdle races and deserves another chance.

Brand New Racing Post App Novice Chase (Grade 1) 4YO plus, 5 Runners, Class 1, 2m 1f

FIL DOR (5) placed then won a steeplechase at Navan. Looks hard to beat. SAINT ROI (3) returned from a 177-day break with a second in a chase at Navan. Could be in the finish. HOLLOW GAMES (1) impressed returning from a 241-day layoff scoring at Navan by 4L. Maintains a solid second up record with two wins. VISIONARIAN (4) resumes. Managed only one start last prep placing in a steeplechase at Punchestown. Can make his presence felt. Another race which will give plenty of pointers to March and the Cheltenham Festival. FIL DOR is the one they all have to pass, interesting that the stable Jockey has chosen the other runner, only time will tell if he made the correct choice.

‘Bet Through The Free Racing Post App’ Handicap Chase 4YO plus, 9 Runners,  2m 1f

EMBITTERED (1) ran second at Cork in a steeplechase last start and can go one better. SIL VER KLASS (6) was unplaced two back in a hurdle but made amends to win a chase at Fairyhouse. On latest performance could go well. FINAL ORDERS (4) produced three successive flat victories and is also an accomplished jumper. Include. RAILWAY HURRICANE (5) did well to finish third racing two starts ago in a steeplechase at Limerick and then backed that form up with a second at Cheltenham. Looks well suited.

Race And Stay At Leopardstown Flat Race 4YO only, 9 Runners,  2m

Market will be the best guide. DID I ASK YOU THAT (1) makes debut for the Willie Mullins stable. Looks set to go well. POUR LES FILLES (6) is another having his first race. Profiles strongly and expecting a strong performance. PARK OF KINGS (5) will find this a little easier than his third racing first up beaten 4.5L at Fairyhouse. Sure to take a lot from that run and is among the leading chances. GET IT RIGHT (2) failed to feature at Punchestown in April when fourth but may progress.
