The David Pipe trained Thanksforthehelp is interesting given his connections and looks to have been laid out for this, along with the more experienced pair of Francois and Whosgotyanow who should both run their race.

Classic Getaway ran no sort of race in the Albert Bartlett last time but is worth forgiving and the drop in class should see him get closer. Fils D’oudairies was unlucky to bump into a well-treated horse at Aintree, but both he and Langer Dan pulled well clear of the rest, and he looks to have been found a good opportunity by Nicky Henderson.

The Nice Guy is unbeaten and won at the Cheltenham Festival despite still looking like he is learning on the job. With further improvement to come he looks sure to be involved in the finish here.

Clan Des Obeaux won this race 12-months ago and with the Paul Nicholls yard operating at a 46% strike rate, he must be included here. Allaho and Fakir D’oudairies need to confirm their stamina, but both arrive here in good form and should be involved in the latter stages of the race.
