Selections

1:50 Ascot

THE PRINCESS MARGARET KEENELAND STAKES (CLASS 1) (Group 3) (CL 1) (6f)

LEZOO (5) made a bright start to her career with two victories prior to an excellent second in the G2 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket. Expected to resume winning ways. GLENLAUREL (3) produced an effortless win first up at Thirsk and could take this class rise in her stride. KINTA (4) managed back-to-back AW successes and is open for further improvement making turf debut. PALM LILY (8) justified strong market support winning on initial outing. Keep safe.

2:25 Ascot

THE LONGINES VALIANT STAKES (CLASS 1) (Group 3) (CL 1) (7f 213y)

ZANBAQ (9) was a luckless second in a strong course handicap. Progressing nicely with the promise of further improvement at Group level for the first time. JUMBLY (5) arrives a Listed winner who finished downfield at G2 standard in a Dusseldorf (Ger) event over this journey. Major appeal. NOVEMBA (1) has progressed with each start this campaign and is expected to go close on figures. OSCULA (7) is consistent. Worth a chance if able to dictate from the front.

3:00 Ascot

THE MOET & CHANDON INTERNATIONAL STAKES (CLASS 2) (HERITAGE HANDICAP) (CL 2) (7f)

DARK SHIFT (6) completed an excellent double in the valuable Royal Hunt Cup handicap at this venue. Expected to measure up after a rise in weights maintaining a progressive profile. JUMBY (2) delivered back-to-back placed efforts among strong handicap company. In the mix if replicating. AIR TO AIR (14) scored for the second time tackling this trip on reappearance at Yarmouth. Unexposed and worth thought. FRESH (11) is capable of bouncing back from a below par effort in latest. Place claims.

3:35 Ascot

THE KING GEORGE VI AND QUEEN ELIZABETH QIPCO STAKES (CLASS 1) (Group 1) (British Champions Series) (CL 1) (1m 3f 211y)

A small but select field for the feature race on the card where G1 Irish Derby winner WESTOVER (5) is expected to continue his steep upward curve. Hard to beat with any further improvement. EMILY UPJOHN (6) was a shade unfortunate after a slow start to run second in the G1 Epsom Oaks. Capable of going close receiving her sex allowance. MISHRIFF (2) must be included as the highest rated in the line-up while BROOME (1) would be respected if able to build a healthy lead from the gates.
