Selections

Haydock Park – 1:15

THE BETFAIR DAILY TIPS ON BETTING.BETFAIR ASCENDANT STAKES (CLASS 1)

It was hard not to be impressed with NAVAL POWER (1) winning by 6.5L among Listed company at Ascot. Stepping up to 1m will suit and can remain unbeaten. Form of a DANCING MAGIC (3) Newbury maiden second continues to hold up and may offer the most value behind the main selection. SEEKING GOLD (6) built on a highly promising debut at Newbury scoring at Yarmouth. Interesting up in level. LION OF WAR (5) is considered.

1:45

THE BEST ODDS ON THE BETFAIR EXCHANGE SUPERIOR MILE STAKES (CLASS 1)

It was slightly disappointing that REACH FOR THE MOON (6) couldn’t prevail in the G3 Hampton Court Stakes over 1m 4f at Royal Ascot when last seen. That still was a solid effort and with the drop back to 1600m and wearing a first-time visor both interesting can return to winning ways. BAYSIDE BOY (5) might not have been at his best when fourth (beaten 3.5L) in the G3 Thoroughbred Stakes at Goodwood but remains of note with blinkers going on for the first time. Progressive handicapper DARK SHIFT (2) deserves to attempt something like this while TRIPLE TIME (8) can be considered. Managed a first success on this card when last seen a year ago.

Kempton Park – 2:05

THE RACING TV SEPTEMBER STAKES (CLASS 1)

DUBAI HONOUR (5) finished 9.1L fourth in the G1 International Stakes at York. Can win dropping in grade. MOSTAHDAF (3) came home 13.3L last of six in the Princess Of Wales’s Stakes over 1m 6f at Newmarket in July. Won both previous AW starts and rates a big threat. GEAR UP (2) delivered a long-neck success in the 1m 6f G3 Ballyroan Stakes at Leopardstown. Bold show likely. THIRD REALM (7) is another with claims following a 30L last of nine in the G1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud at Saint-Cloud.

Haydock Park – 2:20

THE GET DAILY REWARDS WITH BETFAIR HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 2)

A typically competitive renewal of this three-year-old handicap. THUNDERING (1) looked to be in need of this trip when battling on into second over 1m 6f at York last time out. Consider. TAMILLA (9) maintains the right sort of profile and was always doing enough when making a winning handicap debut tackling this distance at Kempton. Its interesting connections have placed OPEN CHAMPION (7) among this company on handicap debut. ADJUVANT (4) encountered a well-treated rival when third attempting this distance at York. Does seem to have proven stamina onside. INVERNESS (5) and SPEYCASTER (10) are others to note.

Kempton Park – 2:40

THE RACING TV LONDON MILE SERIES (FINAL) HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 2)

FIRST VIEW (2) won by 2.5L a 1m handicap at Leicester on his penultimate start. Selected to record a third success in four AW attempts. DUTCH DECOY (3) performed well when 1.3L third attempting 1m at Ripon. Dangerous revisiting AW. BALDOMERO (6) makes the shortlist delivering his first start since a 4L last of six over 1m at Newcastle in June. MOON ISLAND (11) is another with claims following a 3.3L third tackling track and trip.

Haydock Park – 2:55

THE BETFAIR EXCHANGE OLD BOROUGH CUP HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 2)

It’s no surprise to see SOULCOMBE (15) raised 14lbs by the handicapper given how effortless his success was tackling this trip at York a fortnight ago. This progressive William Haggas gelding could prove a pattern-class performer. William Buick may dictate matters from the front on RAJINSKY (3) who acquitted himself well when fourth off 1lb lower in a premier Newcastle handicap in June. ISLAND BRAVE (11) won this last year and is interesting from what could be a decent each-way price. Top-weight EUCHEN GLEN (1) is respected and CONTACT (9) cannot be dismissed.

Ascot – 3:10

THE CAREYS FOUNDATION SUPPORTING THE LIGHTHOUSE CLUB HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 2)

FRESH (4) continues his excellent handicap form with a deserved success in this grade over course and distance. Ideally placed to offer a leading chance upped in weights. INVER PARK (8) might atone for finishing eighth. Steps up in journey at this twice-winning venue. Huge appeal. ARATUS (9) can be upgraded for a last start sixth. In the mix on best figures. SHINING BLUE (7) may make the frame maintaining an unexposed profile.
