FAKIERA (6) ran on strongly reappearing in a similar chase over 2m3.5f. Major contender. ALFA MIX (1) can build on an honest third when reappearing at Kilbeggan. WESTERN RUN (10) is included for a placing with first-time cheekpieces deployed.


Guinness Open Gate Brewery Novice Chase (Grade 3) 4YO plus, 7 Runners, Class 1, 2m 2f 54y

GANAPATHI (2) has made the perfect transition to chasing producing back-to-back successes including an effortless 9L win at Wexford. Can make it three in a row. SOLE PRETENDER (3) might offer most resistance maintaining an unbeaten record attempting fences. Rates highly. CALL ME LYREEN (1) arrives in peak form with fences. Not to be underestimated stepping up in grade. VISIONARIAN (6) raced prominently when scoring on chase debut making reappearance. Place option.


Rockshore Handicap 4YO plus, 21 Runners, 1m 98y

AMPESON (9) bids for a hat-trick following a front-running success at Leopardstown. Raised in the weights but brings plenty of upside. PLUNKETT (7) maintains excellent handicap form after a fourth successive placing when victorious over 7f last time. Obvious winning chance. BIG BABY BULL (4) is another last-time-out winner. Respected receiving a nice low draw. COSMIC VEGA (12) can be considered.


Arthur Guinness Irish EBF Corrib Fillies Stakes (Fillies’ And Mares’ Listed) 3YO plus, 16 Runners, Class 1, 7f

AFFOGATO (9) rates a clear chance on figures. Can atone for a well-held sixth at G3 level stepping down in class. Tough to beat. NECTARIS (12) raced up with the pace producing a determined second at this standard last time out. Expected to be involved. SH BOOM (7) is holding honest form among handicap company this campaign. Consider for a placing. VOICE OF ANGELS (16) completes the shortlist.

HORS PISTE (7) was an effortless 22L winner of a modest Kilbeggan novice hurdle. Ideally placed to progress and deliver back-to-back wins for a top stable. FALCON EIGHT (4) is a Listed flat winner who arrives after providing honest form this term. Unexposed with hurdles and sure to be involved in the finish. THE FRIDAY MAN (5) is not to be underestimated after an impressive hurdle debut success by 6L. SALVADOR ZIGGY (1) arrives with a last start win and must be respected.

ADAMANTLY CHOSEN (13) looks primed for this assignment after an improved fourth in a competitive Punchestown handicap hurdle prior to a short break. Holds top claims for a notable yard. PARTY CENTRAL (6) boasts an impressive hurdle record with four wins from six attempts including at Listed level. Bold showing anticipated. SANTA ROSSA (3) progressed when winning at Grade Three standard latest. Among horses with chances if replicating. FAROUT (10) could progress switching back to hurdles. Not to be ruled out for a placing.


Guinness 0.0% Handicap (50-70) 3YO plus, 21 Runners, 1m 4f

PALE MOONLIGHT (18) made a pleasing reappearance when third at Naas over 2m. Expected to go close raised in trip with first-time blinkers enlisted. DAMMIT (11) is a prominent performer who improved making the frame at Leopardstown. One to note racing for a shrewd stable. DARKENED (8) extended the consistent spell with a determined victory at this venue in a 2m hurdle race on Monday. Respected here. OBSERVING (13) could sneak a place.


Guinness Time Flat Race 5YO plus, 21 Runners, 2m 2f 59y

WHAT PATH (17) has improved each start including a fine second reappearing at Downpatrick over 2m3f. Major chance to get off the mark with a notable jockey booked. BROOKIE (4) produced a remarkable race to finish runner-up after a slipped saddle. Expected to be in the mix. SECOND SUBALTERN (12) delivered a career best in latest defeat. May make the frame. ISLAND McCOO (6) is considered if given a market push on debut for a top stable.
