Gorgeous Suspect has been off the track for almost a year, but the form of his 3rd placed finish at Punchestown last May has worked out well and he is the pick of the owners retained Jockey, Mark Walsh. Imperial Winner ran a nice race on his hurdles debut at Down Royal when he finished 2nd and should be able to build on that effort with the natural improvement.

Bodhisattva is the unexposed horse in the lineup, and he could be anything as he steps into handicap company for the first time after an impressive win at Navan. L’yser won here in January and looks like he has been saved for this race, as does Womalko, who split 2 very talented horses when he finished 2nd at Down Royal last month.

Love Envoi won the mares’ novice hurdle at the Cheltenham festival and is a clear form pick, along with Brandy Love who missed that engagement but still retains plenty of potential.

Stand Off won nicely at Down Royal and should go well again, whilst Gevrey should appreciate the return to better ground.

Buddy Rich was well fancied for the Grand Annual at the Festival before he was pulled out on account of the going. Mt Leinster also looks laid out for a race at this trip and is dangerous if he gets into a rhythm in front.

If he gets round, Galopin des Champs should outclass this field.
