He won on his 9th start in Points but made an instant impact on his debut under rules when finishing 2nd to Farren Glory in a Bumper at Navan 2-weeks ago. Having settled in mid-division, he looked like he was likely to finish there after getting outpaced as they turned for home, but he found well for pressure and galloped through the line to be beaten just 4-lengths by an impressive winner. That race was run on Heavy ground so the deeper conditions at Clonmel shouldn’t cause too much concern and with runners from both Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott in this field, he is likely to be sent off at a decent each-way price.
