His breeding would suggest that this 10-furlong trip is the limit of his stamina and as a confirmed front runner, he is going to have to use up some energy from stall 10 to get to the front and that could leave him vulnerable in the closing stages. TURIN REDSUN finished 2nd to him in the Hong Kong Classic Cup, having been left too much to do when given a patient ride by Alexis Badel. The step up to 10-furlongs looks more likely to suit this son of Dubawi, who finished 6th at Royal Ascot for John and Thady Gosden in the Britannia handicap last season. With a fair draw in stall 6, he should be able to get into a solid position behind the early pace and is almost certain to be doing his best work at the finish.
