It is impossible to say whether Chacun Pour Soi would have gone close in the Champions Chase at Cheltenham as he came down too early, but he was certainly in a good rhythm and Patrick Mullins post-race comments would suggest that he felt he had a solid chance. He won this race 12-months ago by 5-lengths, beating Allaho in the process and he is a perfect 2 from 2 at the track. With drying ground in his favour, he represents some good value to get the better of his stablemate Energumene, who would surely prefer softer conditions.
