There doesn’t appear to be a standout horse in this year’s Topham, but a case can certainly be made for SIZING POTTSIE having a class edge over many of his rivals. With a rating of 155, this isn’t a penalty kick by any means, but a closer examination of his form would suggest that this is a drop on class and if he can repeat the level of form that he has shown since Christmas he looks to have a solid each-way chance. He chased home Melon in a Grade 2 at Gowran in February before getting the better of Grade 1 winning Novice Master McShee at Navan last time. A strong traveler and a solid jumper, he looks to be just the type to take to these fences.
