Hugo Palmer may have taken over at Manor House Stables, but the yards association with the tracks in the North-West has continued seamlessly and 2 times Chester winner FOOLS RUSH IN could add to that on Saturday. He is just 2lbs higher than when winning over this course and distance last August and made a perfectly reasonable comeback when 4th in a similar contest at the Chester Cup meeting earlier this month. Having made the running, he tired in the closing stages but kept on to be beaten just over a length, with the 5th placed Boardman winning on his next start to boost the form. That was his first start since October, and he ran like a horse who would benefit from the outing and should strip fitter this time around. Well drawn in stall 5, he should get into a prominent position from there under Stevie Donohoe and could prove hard to peg back.
