Although he was a late withdrawal from the Brown Advisory at the Festival, Paul Nicholls’ had never seemed overly keen on sending his star Novice chaser to Cheltenham and with the King George as his long-term aim, then this looks the ideal opportunity for BRAVEMANSGAME. Already a Grade 1 winning chaser at Kempton over Christmas, he has been flawless in his 4 chase starts to date and sets a clear form standard here. Despite the relatively cramped odds, he is impossible to oppose on these terms. This is likely to be his final start of the season and so it may be worth considering a small Antepost wager on him for the King George now, as his odds are likely to shorten if he wins as expected.
