Most eyes will turn to the Triumph hurdle for this race, but arguably the most impressive performance of the week at Cheltenham came from BRAZIL in the Boodles Fred winter. He didn’t enjoy a smooth passage at all in the closing stages, but still found enough to get the better of the very well treated Gaelic Warrior, giving him 8lbs in the process. The handicapper has given him a mark of 144, which makes him the best of these at the figures and with an extra 3-days of recovery time compared to his main rivals, he looks tailor made for this assignment. A strong traveler, he should be well suited to Aintree and could confirm his place at the top of the Juvenile ranks.
