Only 4 got to post for this Class 3 contest, but none of the 4 runners can be entirely written off. Jeremys Pass and Galop de Chasse were both slightly disappointing last time out and may be feeling the effects of busy campaigns, so it may be best to focus on Orrisdale and NEVILLE’S CROSS. Preference is for the latter, who looked highly progressive in the autumn, winning here and at Exeter on a sound surface. He has been given a break since he was last seen at Leicester in December but has run well when fresh in the past and looks to have plenty of scope for further improvement. Tom Lacey is currently operating at a 23% strike rate in the last 14 days and has every chance of adding to that tally here.
