It is only 17 days since DUSART finished 5th in the Brown Advisory at the Cheltenham festival, but provided he is over those exertions, he should win this. He was 3rd in a Grade 1 hurdle at Aintree this time last year and after 2 easy wins over fences, he ran with great credit to be 5th at the festival. Having jumped and travelled nicely, he was outpaced in the closing stages, but he kept on to finish 5th, beaten 14-lengths by L’Homme Presse. This represents a significant drop in grade and if he can repeat that effort, which is fairly probable given how lightly raced he has been this season, then he should make the long trip worthwhile for Nicky Henderson.
