Where did last week’s result come from? Rangers stunning 4-2 win in Germany was very hard to predict. Gio Van Bronckhorst was keen to stress that the job is not yet done and given the way that both sides defended a week ago, the tie could still be in the balance. Rangers were superb, but Dortmund were out of sorts and failed to convert their 63% possession into anything significant. Their 82nd minute consolation last week will have given them hope of salvaging the tie at Ibrox and it is hard to believe that they won’t be able to improve on last week’s poor display.
