Liverpool are closing in rapidly on Manchester City in the title race and are unlikely to drop points against a team in the relegation scrap. However, Roy Hodgson has definitely improved Watford defensively and they have managed away wins at Aston Villa and Southampton under his tenure, as well as earning a point at Old Trafford, so this may not be the walkover it first appears. Liverpool should have too much for the Hornets, but their stubborn defence could limit the damage.
