SEA LA ROSA – WIN
William Haggas is having an excellent season and there could be plenty more to come from his four-year-old filly SEA LA ROSA.
She won three handicaps last season before ending the year with a Listed success at Lingfield on the AW. She returned to action in May and justified favouritism with a 1.75L victory over course and distance in the Group 3 Pinnacle Stakes. The daughter of Sea The Stars has proven stamina at this journey and was eased down when winning last time. She looks ready for this step up in class and is likely to improve again.
Cieran Fallon takes over from Tom Marquand who has been on-board for three of her five victories so far. However, Fallon has a 22.5% strike rate for William Haggas in the last 12 months so his booking should not be seen as a negative.
She has a great draw in stall 4 and all signs point to another big run.
